How Mighty Morsels are Made : The Story
We reached out to Maribah with Elite Tactical Security Solutions in Las Vegas to test the treats. I started with grocery store raw beef liver. It was a struggle, the smell, and texture… I wasn’t sure this was going to be my thing.
Yet, Maribah’s K-9 Division of Belgium Malinois enthusiastically approved of the treats, plus the super organics, and super egg crystals!
It was an official go! Next, we needed to find our raw beef liver source.

How does Freeze Drying Work?
The process of freeze-drying uses modern technology and food science to revolutionize food nutrition and longevity.
Freeze drying locks in 100% of the taste, nutrition and calories. Only the water is removed, making it 80% or more lighter in weight.
The integrity of our products is never compromised. The beef liver comes whole and frozen straight from the rancher at which point it is sliced frozen and kept in a freezer at -0 degrees. Then into the freeze dryer, packaged and straight to you.
This is how it works…
1. The product is frozen to -50 degrees Fahrenheit.
2. A small amount of heat, 7 degrees Fahrenheit, is introduced and starts the sublimation process as all the moisture is removed from the food.
3. The moisture condenses on the inside of the cooled walls of the vacuum chamber.
4. The freeze dryer senses when the food is moisture free, and stops the process automatically.
5. The product is then immediately packaged and ready to use.
Because this process removes all of the moisture, the product can be kept right in your cupboard. We do recommend keeping it away from your pet though—it is so tantalizing our furry friends have been known to go to great lengths to have a bite on their own terms.

Storage: Mighty Morsel products do not require ANY special storage. Just put it in the cupboard, backpack, tote, or treat bag and you’re ready to go. Additionally, freeze-drying reduces food weight by 80%, which means easy portability for you. What was 16 ounces is now just 3 ounces.
